Network Engineer

TOP SECRET/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data networks including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring

  • Plan network layouts and configures systems to user environments                   

  • Analyze network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements

  • Support the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed

  • May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users

  • May perform network administration duties

  • Provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced network personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities   

 

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar discipline

  • Two (2) additional years of related application/software programming experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

  • 5-8 years of directly related experience working in network analysis and design

  • An active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance

  • Experience with CISCO IOS, Cisco ACI, Cisco Hyperflex, Cisco UCS, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASAs, Palo Alto, Cloud AWS, Ceph, Rubrik, Tintri, Encryption, VMWare NSX, VMWare Sphere, and VMWare Horizon                           

  • Understanding of firewalls, routing protocols

  • Experience with SolarWinds                                                                            

  • Knowledge of ASAs, VMWare products, and Layer II and Layer III

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CCNP or CCNA certification
