R2C is seeking a Project Manager to support a client's operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Chantilly, VA Area.

Responsibilities:
This position requires the management of various project creation, organization, execution and completion of specific software development projects. This team member will be responsible for facilitating and enabling the design, development, documentation, and implementation of all work in accordance with the Project Management Framework (PMF), to include Lean Agile Methodologies implemented to assist in the rapid delivery of programs and projects approved by the organization leadership. This team member will work with the PMO, customer personnel, and the COTR to ensure technical deliverables are met in accordance with agreements during control gates.
Qualifications:
Experience overseeing and managing software development projects utilizing software engineering principals and Agile engineering methodologies to research, design, develop software applications
Experience enabling daily operations of Scrum teams by analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines
Experience producing and analyzing burn down charts and recommending ways to improve team deliverables and timelines
Experience assigning/reviewing work and providing oversight of SW engineers, developers, and other members of the technical team
Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing schedules, requirements, technical work, and customer expectations.
Experience coordinating project schedules, document and distribute meeting minutes and action items, and track action items for successful completion.
Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
Eight (8) years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree
Minimum five (5) years of experience overseeing and managing software development projects utilizing software engineering principals and Agile engineering methodologies to research, design, develop software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Accredited certification as an Agile Scrum Master
Experience planning and coordinating activities such as installation and upgrading of hardware, software, development, & systems designs
Experience conferring with systems analysts, engineers, developers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces
Experience documenting, managing and tracking action items using tools such as Confluence, Jira, and MS Project
