R2C is seeking Web Developer to support a client's technical requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities:
Provide architectural design and web development support
Work Closely with the Applications Development Team, the Applications Software PM, and other stakeholders
Participate in software discussion and recommend implementation of the tools, technologies, and techniques
Brief presentations to senior management at various levels, attend stakeholder planning meetings, and provide technical support
Responsible for assessing and planning the migration of legacy databases to custom designed applications
Design, develop, and build solutions based on requirements
Manage and track requirements through SharePoint site.
Create, update, and maintain all applications and websites that use Video on Demand
Qualifications:
Experience with web development projects using Javascript, XML, HTML, Ruby, or Java
Experience capturing requirements and recommending solutions
Experience designing and developing systems or applications to meet requirements
Experience designing and developing databases with interfaces to multiple applications or supporting systems
Experience with SharePoint, Java Spring/Spring Boot, Java RESTful web services, Mongo Database, and WordPress
Experience with relational database programming such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or other RDBMS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the client’s Cloud and SharePoint environments
Experience with Lotus Notes/Domino development
Experience with Linux and Windows operating environments
Experience with Object Oriented programming
Experience applying software project lifecycle principles such as formal reviews and milestones
Experience using Open Source tools such as Struts2, grails, groovy, Spring, Hibernate, Maven and iBatis
Experience developing software using a client side Java script framework such as Angular
